Decentralized agency that reports to the Executive Power through the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works. ANP is responsible for the management, preservation and development of the public ports across the country, i.e., Montevideo, Nueva Palmira, Colonia, Juan Lacaze, Fray Bentos, Paysandú and Salto.
